After crossing Buccinasco Castello, continue on the cycle/pedestrian path taking a right under the ring road. The passage is very low and must be crossed being careful to keep your head down.

From Corso Sempione to Milan Cathedral

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

Walking along Corso Sempione, a historic Milanese street, already filmed by the great De Sica in 1932, in the film “Gli uomini che mascalzoni”, is wonderful for me! Of course it has definitely changed since then, but it is still a fascinating and large tree-lined street, which leads towards Parco Sempione, beyond which the Sforza Castle stands majestic and proud. Crossing its gardens, you arrive at the heart of the city, excellently represented by the Duomo, which hurls its pointed spires towards the sky. A run that for me, gathers the soul and the history of this beautiful city.

Not very challenging route: starting from Tre Torri, continuing along Via Monti you first reach the Triennale and then the Sempione Park, then you pass by the Sforza Castle until you reach the Duomo

Carlo Cantoni
November 13, 2025, Low Underpass Near Buccinasco Castello

Two rural settlements from the last century. Their importance is evidenced by the presence of the mill and the church, which largely guaranteed their physical and spiritual independence.

October 21, 2024, Villa Arconati

Villa Arconati (also called Palazzo Arconati), popularly known as the Castellazzo, is one of the historic villas of the Groane Park, located in Bollate, in the Castellazzo di Bollate hamlet which takes its name from it. It is an example of eighteenth-century Lombard baroque and has been declared a national monument. Due to its size and grandiose style, in eighteenth-century guides it was defined as the petite Versailles italienne ("small Italian Versailles").

I found the gate closed, so I found an alternative route, bypassing the route.
