Ucelluline Waterfall

Highlight • Waterfall

Even the journey on a narrow, winding mountain road with a magnificent view over the coastal plain to the sea is highly recommended and the waterfalls of the Ucelluline put the whole thing on the crown. Through a short tunnel you reach the gorge-like valley cut, which is spanned by a stone bridge, under which the Ucelluline flows past in several waterfalls. From the bridge you can enjoy the sight of the waterfalls extensively, because much traffic was not recorded.

Natural Pools at the Y-Tree

Highlight • Natural Monument

The pools on the Y-tree are just awesome. Jumps of 6 - 22 m are probably possible here. There is also an adventurous water slide.......... but you need a lot of courage to try it here.

Anyone who has jumped can either get out or swim through the first pool and at the end of it go down the slide straight into the lower pool. You can get back on the left side of the river by climbing over the rocks at the end of the pool. If you haven't had enough, you can jump off the highest rock into the third pool.

Important: The river does not always carry the same amount of water. That's why it's so important to dive down and check if the pools are deep enough before you jump! Jump at your own risk!

No, you're not dreaming ! You are indeed in Corsica, although this narrow canyon may remind you of a Far West setting.

This parade of La Scala di Santa Regina (Saint Régine's staircase) is a long gorge that stretches for more than 15 kilometers. It was dug by the Golo river which flows below. You evolve at the foot of high rock faces.

That's wonderful !

Inzecca Gorge

Highlight (Segment) • Gorge

The boldly carved into the rock road winds with moderate slope through the spectacular Inzecca gorge, in the bottom of which partly house-sized boulders piled up. Above and below the gorge are the reservoirs of a hydroelectric power station, which does not detract from the scenic beauty of this route. Absolutely recommendable and applicable value.

The spectacular Scala di Santa Regina is the eastern entrance to the Niolo. Reddish granite rocks show beautiful tafoni weathering here. A centuries-old mule track leads hikers through the gorge. But swimming in clear rivers is also possible.

Abri d’Antia Waterfall

Highlight (Segment) • Waterfall

The detour leads to absolutely stunning pools and is certainly not useless. Definitely worth doing. You only have to walk the last 150 meters downhill towards the river. It's a bit steep in places, but not dangerous.

Otherwise, check out my previous tours.

You can either go up next to the bridge or go down diagonally opposite and swim if you want. There is a tunnel on the other side of the bridge.
