The picture shows the Begunjski and immediately behind it the ridge to the right to the Cmir. In the saddle in front is the Dom Valentina Stanica. The path from the Valentina to the Kredarica and Trgilav hut is at least challenging walking terrain with a few secured passages. You should not be afraid of heights. In snow and wet conditions I imagine the unsecured crossings are dangerous.

The owners are very welcoming and after spending the night there, we were able to leave our bikes there for the day to hike to the summit of Mount Triglav. This is a less popular route than the others, but allows you to reach the summit and come back down in just one day, with an elevation gain of 2000 meters. Please note, bivouac is strictly prohibited in Slovenia and more particularly in the Triglav National Park. It is heavily repressed and the fines are steep.
