The road that leads to the top of Mount Vojak from the southern slope is unpaved starting shortly after the village of Sveta Jelena. The first ramps are more challenging but, once the forest clears, the slopes become more gentle. Once in Vela Ucka the dirt road rejoins the paved road that reaches the summit from the north.

Wonderful view from the summit and also from the path on the ridge before the summit. When ascending from Sveta Jelena, the footpaths away from the forest roads are in poor condition, at least in summer. Often overgrown and with a lot of scree on the barely recognizable paths. Orientation is hardly possible without GPS and map. In summer, you should also be aware of the heat that sets in early in the morning.

Downhill is doable, but not enjoyable. Loose and rough surface with big fixed rocks inbetween. Wouldnt recomend for uphill (suicide). Done with 42mm touring tires. MTB no problem.
