The Refugio de la Redonda is a stone shelter that has a fireplace, table and platform for sleeping. Although firewood is scarce, it is possible to light the fireplace and enjoy a warm and cozy night. In addition, the shelter is in good condition and quite clean, so you can enjoy a comfortable and pleasant stay.

This small Belesar shelter 2,123 mtrs. It is an excellent bivouac at the bottom of the Boyo Gorge in the Sierra de Gredos, an ideal place to spend the night. It has a capacity of 6 seats. Located in the Bohoyo Gorge, it allows two-day routes in different areas of Gredos. It is a small but well-maintained free shelter located in a high area since it is above two thousand meters high. To reach this small refuge, the usual thing is to go completely up the Bohoyo Gorge, following the route that begins on the road that separates Bohoyo from Navamediana. The path enters the Gorge, keeping the river at its side at all times, following this route after fourteen kilometers we will reach the refuge area. What is this Shelter like? We are in an old oval-shaped shepherd's hut, it has a central beam that formerly supported the roof made of broom. Today the roof is made of uralite and tiles, so its protection is much greater. Inside we have two platforms that allow two people to sleep although four more people could fit on the floor. It does not have a fireplace and the area being so high has little firewood so it is not very useful to have it. It is well preserved and it appears that it was renovated not many years ago.

This small cabin has a fireplace but it is not guarded, so no type of service is offered. It is located next to the Nava gorge and has capacity for about three people. Not far away is the Losa shelter, which, unlike this one, has a wooden platform to sleep on with a mat and bag.

The Galín Gómez refuge is located next to the Barco lagoon, and that is why it is sometimes known by this name. It is a small stone house in which no type of service is offered. There is a fireplace and two wooden platforms to put a mat and sleeping bag. More people can sleep on the floor, although it is quite worn. I recommend you arrive early to collect some firewood before nightfall and be able to heat up the room a bit. Between the refuge and the lagoon there is a water pipe that comes out very clean and with great force.

The Chozo Blanco de la Dehesa de la Serrota is in the pastoral meadow of the Garganta de las Hoyuelas, on the southern slope of the mountain range, within a cattle farm. Near the hut there is a circular corral to enclose the herds that completes the ethnographic set.
