At lake Hovrasjön is a nice shelter elevated on a cliff just by the water with a great view of the entire lake. The shelter gets really nice morning sun, but is in shade most of the afternoon and evening. There is a picnic table and a fireplace in front of the shelter, and an outhouse behind the shelter. A little bit south of the shelter there is a nice flat grassy area suitable for setting up tents. You can find some spots next to the cliffs to swim in the lake, but the water is pretty murky. I did filter some water for drinking, but the murky water quickly clogged up the filter. If possible, get water at B&B Bergsstugan by the road on the opposite side of the lake instead.

Here is a small, inconspicuous rest area with wooden trunks for seating and direct access to the water.

The place is not only suitable for wild camping, but also for photography. Here is my bike with less luggage.

The sun doesn't really go down this time of year. It always gets light even at night. Still, it looks great.

Here you can either spend the night with a camper or with a tent. There were a few visitors, but not many. The place suited me well.
