You can rent tree tents there 🤩 The tents are for three people, but I would rather recommend them for two. A very nice overnight option with a magnificent view over the lake.

Opened again in May 2025 after the path was closed in 2018. Pioneers from the Lettow-Vorbeck Barracks built the so-called Soldiers' Bridge in the 1970s. Soldiers used the bridge as a shortcut on their way to the southern part of the city. Today, the bridge is part of the Mönchsweg long-distance hiking trail.

This Rantzaustein No. 4 stands directly on the road between Klein Gladebrügge and Traventhal under three large trees. The cycle path runs directly past the back of the stone. The front view of the stone can be seen from the road. I think it's great that such historical stones are preserved and cared for here for posterity.
