Lakes in the Vistula Delta, known as Żuławy Wiślane, form a unique hydrographic region shaped by centuries of water management and land reclamation. This area features an intricate network of rivers and canals, offering distinct aquatic experiences. The two most prominent water bodies are the Vistula Lagoon, a significant brackish water lagoon, and Lake Drużno, a shallow delta lake. The Drużno Lake Reserve is a unique place on the bike trail near Elbląg, ideal for nature lovers. The lake is shallow and overgrown with reeds, and the reserve primarily protects water birds - you can see herons, cormorants and white-tailed eagles here. It is best to go there in late spring or summer, when there are the most birds. The routes around the lake lead partly along dirt roads, so it is worth taking a trekking bike and checking the forecast, because it gets muddy after rain. An interesting addition to the trip could be a cruise on the Elbląg Canal, which starts nearby.

The resting place is located on the southern outskirts of the village of Jantar, next to a lake that is an attraction for anglers. A quiet place, on the not very busy Jantar - Rybina road. There are no shops or restaurants nearby, if a tourist is hungry, he must count on his own supplies, or go to the shops located about 400 - 500 m away on Morska and Gdańska streets. WW

A walking route around the retention reservoir, between the Lawendowe Wzgórze and Zakoniczyn housing estates. The path is fully lit and paved. There is also a playground for children, a basketball court and an outdoor gym. From this place you can reach the "Świętokrzyska II" reservoir via a connecting route

A round building of unknown purpose, located on a fenced plot on the Izbiska - Przemysław road right next to the river. The first associations are a strange windmill or a historic astronomical observatory. I asked anglers fishing near this object, but they could not say anything specific. The size of this building is astonishing, and in such a remote, not to say backwater place.

The pond is a natural gate to the Valley of the Elves, and one of the entrances to the Tri-City Landscape Park from the side of Stara Oliwa leads along its shore.
