An old Simmental legend is also associated with the place: In the past, people are said to have thrown a stone into the hole and then listened carefully. From the depths, they believed they could hear a quiet "Yes" or "No" – a kind of oracle that was supposed to answer questions and predict the fulfillment of a wish.

Chlingelloch – mysterious rock shaft on the Fromattgrat The Chlingelloch, also called Klingelloch, is an impressive natural rock shaft in the Fromattgrat area above the Diemtigtal valley. The almost vertical crevice hole is in heavily karstified limestone and is said to reach a depth of around 80 meters. ⚠️ Caution: The Chlingelloch is a deep, natural rock shaft and is not secured. Great caution is advised in the area of the opening, especially when it is wet, snowy, or visibility is poor. Do not step too close to the edge.

The dwarf hole is just a small cave. With the tables and two fire pits, it is a nice place to rest and grill.
