Always a very nice place to rest. When the pub is closed, there is usually coffee in a thermos flask, cakes on plates and a self-service drinks machine in the next room. It's nice that this still works on a trust basis!

At the foot of the Hochlecken between the Traunsee and Attersee, surrounded by forest, lies the Taferlklaussee. The Taferlklause was built around 1716 when the Aurachbach was dammed in order to use it for timber rafting with the Klauswehr. The dam was not abandoned, but continued to be used as a fishing water.
