This is not quite the summit of Hawnby Hill yet (it's the Crag, not the Hill), but I felt the views were better from here than there! The summit is just 1-min walk from here, but that does not have the useful bench to sit on like the Crag does!

It's a steep descent (or climb!) on the northern end of Hawnby Hill, with fantastic views to the moors!

This steep and heather-covered hill dominates over Hawnby just 1 km (so it's short and sweet but steep!). Excellent views of the surrounding moors and Hawnby down below!

When ascending, make sure to watch out for any animal droppings as it may make your tire slip and make you fall into more of it, or it may just ruin your day slightly, other than that it is a fairly steep ascent with a old building at the top.
