High Falls is a mighty cascade on the Oswegatchie River. There are a couple of first-come, first-serve lean-tos near the river shore, and a handful of primitive campsites scattered along the access trail to the falls and to the west along the main trail.

The top of this mountain offers a nice peek at Cranberry Lake to the south and southwest, but the best views are really on the mountains southerly slopes. This makes a nice side trip from the Cranberry 50 loop, or a worthy destination in and of itself.
