The Church of the Holy Trinity in Mikstat is the town's main parish church, dating back to the 14th century, when the first residents built a wooden church on the so-called Church Hill. Over the centuries, the church was rebuilt several times after fires and destruction, until the current brick church in the neo-Baroque style, designed by Marian Andrzejewski, was built in 1914. It was consecrated by Cardinal Edmund Dalbor in 1918, an event not only religious but also patriotic – the streets of Mikstat were decorated with white and red banners, and young people welcomed the distinguished guest in national costumes. The church is impressive in its architecture – the three-nave main body is enclosed on the eastern side by a semicircular apse, while a tall tower with a ground-floor porch, topped by a metal dome with a lantern and a cross, dominates the west. The entrance portal is adorned with sculptures of angels and flanked by columns, giving the building a monumental character. The church interior is divided by arcades, the vaults of which are adorned with rich polychrome and stucco decorations. In the western part is a brick choir loft with an organ case, supported by three arcades. The organ, built by Józef Bach in 1939, is unique in Poland. The church's furnishings are in the spirit of neo-Baroque – the main altar features a bas-relief depicting the Holy Trinity, flanked by scenes of the Annunciation of the Archangel Gabriel and the fight of the Archangel Michael with the dragon. The side altars are dedicated to St. Agatha and the Virgin Mary with the Infant Jesus. A canopied pulpit, the Stations of the Cross, and numerous stained glass windows from 1914 complete the interior's sacred atmosphere. In the church cemetery stands a 19th-century wooden cross, the work of Paweł Bryliński, decorated with sculptures of the Virgin Mary, saints and a pelican feeding its chicks – a symbol of Christ.

The Sanctuary of St. Roch in Mikstat is a unique place of worship located on the southern edge of town, not only attracting pilgrims from across the region but also captivating visitors with its historic architecture. Built in 1780 as a cemetery church, the church has served as the spiritual center of the local community from its inception, particularly in the fight against epidemics. St. Roch, patron saint of the sick and guardian of animals, has earned a special place in the hearts of the faithful in Mikstat, and his cult was strengthened in the 19th century by the placement of a statue in the main altar. The church represents the typical religious architecture of 18th-century provincial Poland. Constructed entirely of wood, it retains the Baroque style with a simple, single-nave layout. From the outside, the high, shingled roofs and the bell tower towering over the building are striking. The interior exudes the tranquility and charm of ancient folk religious art – the main altar, made of wood and gilded, is adorned with a sculpture of St. Roch with a dog at his side, typical of iconography. Paintings depicting scenes from the life of the patron saint and numerous votive offerings, testimonies of graces received by the faithful, hang on the walls. One of the most characteristic events associated with the sanctuary is the indulgence in honor of St. Roch, celebrated annually on August 16th. This unique holiday features a solemn Mass, preceded by a colorful procession attended by residents and pilgrims, as well as local authorities and clergy. The culmination of the celebration is the tradition of blessing animals – both domestic and farm animals – which dates back to the time when St. Roch was invoked as a protector against diseases affecting humans and cattle. During the liturgy, priests bless the animals, which the faithful bring to the shrine, creating a colorful and vibrant image of the faith manifested in the daily lives of the inhabitants of Mikstat and the surrounding area.

Post-Bernardine church with a monastery, built on a hill in the 17th century. In July 1629, a congress of Wieluń nobility approved the establishment of a monastery with the church of St. Michael the Archangel for the Bernardine Order. Initially, in 1638, a wooden church and monastery were built on the site of the current brick church. During the Swedish invasion in 1656, the monastery buildings were burned down; before that, the church was robbed. In the years 1680–1740, the current temple was built, and it was consecrated by Bishop Sommerfeld in 1741. The building in the Baroque style was built of plastered brick. The belfry from 1810 was demolished in 1946. The presbytery has an area of 8 × 7 m, and is 11 m high, while the nave is 8 × 16 m and 13 m high. Inside, the walls bear the coats of arms of the families that founded the monastery and the church: Psarski, Leszczyński, Siewierski, Krakowski, Karśnicki and Wężyk, sculptures commemorating Rafał and Jan Leszczyński, and a late Baroque polychrome made in 1740 by Antoni Ignacy Linki (the inscription above the choir). Next to the church is the chapel of St. Thaddeus Jude with an 18th-century painting of the patron saint in a Baroque altar. Currently, the monastery is occupied by the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth.

The Professor Marian Falski Primer Museum collects Primers and collections from the field of education. The museum can be visited individually or in organized groups. The museum was established at the turn of 2004/2005 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Polish Teachers' Union. Professor Marian Falski, known primarily as the author of the most popular Polish primer of the 20th century, published under the title: "Nauka czyta i pióra wielu wznawianego" (Learning to read and write many times reissued), was chosen as its patron. The museum is located in the former Oxner manor house from the 19th century. Professor Falski was the son-in-law of Karol Oxner, the pre-war owner of Kuźnica, and the brother-in-law of the last heir of this estate, Seweryn Oxner. The residence contains, among other things, original desks, pre-war inkwells, photographs, lesson journals, globes, atlases and dozens of school aids.
