Right in the heart of the Weserbergland, you should take your time to discover one of the oldest cities in northern Germany. Höxter, the small half-timbered town with the magnificently decorated Weser Renaissance houses, the pretty Weser promenade, which invites you to take a break from cycling with beautiful details. The Weser promenade, the city and the Corvey World Heritage Site were linked together by the NRW State Garden Show 2023. Each of these places is a highlight in itself. Together they form the backdrop for this extraordinary place. Take a look at the Weser promenade in Höxter at your leisure, there are great garden plantings, objects, sculptures and also the blue peace sheep to see. Blue is the color of the EU, UNESCO and UNICEF. If you continue along the Weser cycle path towards Corvey, you will also pass the Abtgarten and a very beautiful tree-lined avenue. So just follow my bike tour, there is still a lot to discover.
