The Lidö Battery was part of Sweden's coastal defense system during WWII. When constructed it included four cannons protecting the approach to Stockholm. Today, one of these cannons remains.

Featuring an inn and a glass-enclosed restaurant with a view of Lidöfjärden, it makes for an inviting place for refreshments, both before and after taking on the Archipelago Trail.
