Just a short walk south from the beach car park and you can see the Red Castle clearly in view. The 15th century castle is in disrepair and closer access is fenced off due to safety concerns as the slopes it occupies are slowly eroding away.

Castle ruin on the bank of the River Lunan just above the beach.

Very narrow dirt track that leads along the cliff to Ethie Haven. Amazing view but will require a bit of hike a bike if there's been any rain recently. Be careful here as it does follow the top of the cliff.

Maison Dieu roast their own coffee in small batches to create the most delicious coffee. The team are passionate and take care with the sourcing, roasting and if required grinding. You can buy beans or ground coffee to take away or online. They also have a cafe where you can try the different roasts along with a slice of cake. Sound like the perfect stop on a bike ride! Open: 7:00 - 15:00 Tue to Fri 9:00 - 16:00 Sat 10:00 - 15:00 Sun Closed on Mondays.
