Johann Simon Abendanz had the castle-like building in Distelhausen built as a manor house in 1758. It was a three-winged complex with a residential building and an outbuilding. After a fire in 1955, the east wing was demolished and not rebuilt. The residential building and the west wing are still present. Both are fully cellared.
