The cave of Han-sur-Lesse (French Grotte de Han) is one of Europe's most famous show caves. It is located in Han-sur-Lesse, which belongs to the municipality of Rochefort on the river Lesse in the Ardennes (Province of Namur, Belgium). Particularly interesting are the slender stalagmites in its middle section, the number of which is surpassed by only a few stalactite caves.

Han-sur-Lesse is a Walloon village in the province of Namur. Famous for its caves, it is nevertheless a cultural, festive and gourmet village that makes it an essential place in the Ardennes. The famous caves of Han Han-sur-Lesse lies on the Calestienne, a geological region characterized by limestones on the house facades, but also crossed by the river Lesse. It is the combination of these two elements that led to the creation of an exceptional place, the caves of Han. What is the scientific explanation for this? The river caused partial erosion of the limestone massif that formed the caves; caves that have become internationally known.
