Since 1895, lakeside sport in Lecco has been known as Canottieri Lecco. Since then, the club has offered its members the tools and space to experience the lake in its charming headquarters, engaging in competitive and amateur sports or relaxing while watching a sunset and enjoying an aperitif, breathing in the air and savoring the scent of a piece of the city's history. History On September 27, 1895, the Canottieri Lecco club was founded in the Caffè del Teatro Sociale "with the aim of contributing to the development of rowing for hygiene purposes." Thanks to the sporting friendship that united 28 Lecco residents and the patronage of its members, presidents, and board members, the club is now one of the oldest sports clubs in Italy. To learn more about the club's history, request a copy of the "centenary book" from the club's secretary. (c) https://www.canottierilecco.com/

The cycle/pedestrian area is beautiful, in absolute tranquility away from roads and immersed in nature. The only negative note that should not be underestimated is that there is no cycle path for a stretch of a couple of km and therefore you necessarily have to walk on a fairly busy road.
