The abandoned gate of Beichlingen Castle is a fascinating relic that exudes a touch of history and mysticism. It is part of the impressive castle complex, which lies in the middle of an idyllic landscape.

Beautiful hike starting from Beichlingen Castle towards Burgwenden on well-paved paths, slightly ascending through wonderful old beech trees

The source is a few meters further down the slope than stated. Spring catchment with a door that you can open and draw water from, very clean. A cup hangs next to it. The path from the signpost on the ridge is quite overgrown. The table-bench combination next door that is visible in some pictures probably no longer exists.
