The Dehio handbook assumes that the choir was "probably" built at the end of the 13th century. The nave was built at the beginning of the 14th century as a branch of the St. Paul's Church on Usedom. The west tower was added in the 15th century. In 1755 it received a curved hood with an octagonal helmet. Between 2000 and 2005, the paintings were extensively renovated and conserved.[1] Source https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dorfkirche_Mellenthin
