If you move the handle of this fountain, the town hall is set in motion. Next to the town hall, the church tower of the Trinity Church and the water tower are shown. The water running down drips into the hats of the Finsterwalde singers. When these are full, the water is tipped out. The fountain represents a day side and a night side.

The ironic and humorous Singers' Fountain with pumping station behind the Trinity Church is a real work of art and a sight in the Singers' Town. A beautiful work by the artist Eckhard Böttger, who died far too early.

The expansive palace complex, located in the heart of the town, is divided into a front and rear palace. The three-story tower, with its gateway, connects both palace sections. The rear palace, in particular, with its arcades, is reminiscent of the Renaissance, whose contemporaries the builders, members of the noble family of the Lords of Dieskau, were. Today, the palace serves as the seat of the city administration and cannot be visited from the inside. Unfortunately, climbing the palace tower is currently not possible either. https://www.elbe-elster-land.de/de/kultur-historie/schloesser-und-parks/artikel-schloss-finsterwalde.html
