In the meantime (at least in summer) it unfortunately tends to overgrow. Otherwise: Nothing holds up here, at least no pedestrian traffic. In that respect, nice to look at... and move on.

I also did not find the adit on my tour today. A signpost is present not far from the bridge, but it is somewhat misleading, as it points into the middle of the forest without a discernible path.

I agree with the previous commentators (including "Teufelchen New"), the view is heavily overgrown in summer. A good alternative with a view of the castle is from the bench on the serpentine further down in the direction of the Jahn monument.
