At the west portal of the former Schwarzkopftunnel, a rest and refreshment station has been created at a historic site. In the past, water was captured there on both sides using well chambers and used in the days of steam locomotives to fill the local water cranes. All the water was of drinking water quality and was used, among other things, to supply the stations of Heigenbrücken, Laufach, Hösbach, Goldbach, and Aschaffenburg. This water is still available today. At the refreshment station, visitors can refresh themselves with the spring water from the Schwarzkopfquelle using a pump (hydraulic ram), cool their feet, hands, and legs in water troughs, and relax at a small seating area. The refreshment station was officially opened on October 3, 2020. In 2018, the Laufach street artist Max Hasenstab created a graffiti on the tunnel portal showing a steam locomotive and a man with a speech bubble. The phrase included there, "Hie un zurück Lafisch," recalls an anecdote at the ticket counter of the Aschaffenburg train station. Source: www.laufach.de

The small (Etzbachbogen) and the large Holzmannbogen are two structures made of red variegated sandstone, which were built around 1850 during the railway construction measures. The Etzbachbogen (Kleiner Holzmannbogen) is 40 m long, the Dunkle Bogen (Große Holzmannsbrücke) is 140 m long. Besides the Wendelstein-, Meidhof- and Sachsenhäuserbrücke in Laufach, the so-called Chausseebogen spans the federal road B 26 in Hain. It is 51 m long, up to 14 m high and 11.6 m wide. This viaduct has become a striking landmark of Hain. Source: Information board at the location
