Popular around Sankt Thomas am Blasenstein
Unfortunately, you are not welcome here with a bicycle / mountain bike at all 😡 The paths are in very good condition and wide enough for considerate bikers and hikers. The castle sits enthroned on a large rock block and can only be visited inside via planned guided tours. The outdoor area is freely accessible with information and, above all, views over the surroundings all the way to the Alps 😀

One of the many imposing granite formations around St. Thomas is definitely worth a visit - however, only the access from the Northwest is suitable for mountain bikes, the steep slope to the Southeast can only be safely managed on foot (sometimes ropes between the trees), even downhill pushing is difficult because the space between rocks and trees becomes very narrow.

The stone on the west side of Luckn is quite smooth, many have already scrambled over it 😉 A look into the beautiful bright church is also worthwhile.

From here begins the strong "final ascent" up to the church & Buckelwehluck´n

A cloister above the church leads into the crypt of St. Thomas am Blasenstein. Since 1800 (first mentioned in writing in 1830), a mummy has been located there, known to many as the "luft'gselchter Pfarrer" (air-smoked pastor).

"Bucklwehluck`n": If you slip through the Luck`n from east to west, your back pain is over – so says wise folk wisdom.
