Lake Möser, nestled in the forests of the Seefeld Plateau, is one of the warmest natural bathing lakes in Tyrol, with water temperatures up to 25 degrees Celsius. The circular path around the lake leads through idyllic forests and offers numerous quiet swimming spots. The Möserer Seestub'n on the eastern shore invites you to stop for a refreshing drink with its terrace and regional cuisine.

Near the idyllically situated Möserer Lake on the Wildmoos Plateau (1,320 m), a popular local recreation area near Seefeld, there is a very interesting natural phenomenon to observe: Two mountain lakes – Wildmoos Lake and Lotten Lake – appear as if out of nowhere amidst green meadows, larch, and birch forests. This aperiodic (irregular) "natural wonder" is likely the result of a complex interplay of spring rainfall and snowmelt in subterranean karst systems. When the thaw sets in in spring, the subterranean vessels (karsts) fill with water, and the overflow floods the meadow hollows, forming lakes that often disappear after just a few weeks. In some years, the water level continues to rise even after the snowmelt due to underground springs – an impressive natural spectacle. Numerous attempts to predict the formation of the lakes have been unsuccessful. The exact reasons for the appearance or absence of the lakes remain a mystery to this day. The Lottensee Hut overlooks this aperiodic natural phenomenon and is the perfect place to stop and enjoy a meal in both summer and winter. The rustic parlor, the spacious sun terrace overlooking the lake, and especially the warm atmosphere are always worth a visit. The stunning circular hike is considered a must for nature lovers; for those looking for a more energetic approach, the bike tour across the Wildmoos Plateau is recommended. Enjoy the scenery with more energy. The Lottensee Hut is also easily accessible by car; parking is available. Swimming with Dogs The aperiodic lake offers welcome refreshment on hot summer days. Out of consideration for the grazing livestock, we ask that dogs be kept on a leash.
