The Lörmecketal nature reserve (NSG ID SO-073) is a nature reserve in the area of the municipalities of Rüthen and Warstein in the North Rhine-Westphalian district of Soest.[1] It was designated by the district government by ordinance in 2000 and covers, with an area of around 270 hectares, the valley of the Lörmecke from the district border to shortly before its confluence with the Glenne. Largely congruent with the nature reserve is the Lörmecketal FFH area (ID DE-4516-301), making it part of the European Natura 2000 protected area network.
