The hut was probably built directly by the then landlord of the Hirschwirt in Mönchberg. Inside there is a guest book that testifies to the many visitors who like to take a break here. Originally, it served the landlord of the "Hirsch" inn as a relaxing place to unwind after work and a retreat.
