It's not exactly a beach restaurant, right next to the amphitheater. But the view is great and the food is good.

Churches are always a place of peace. However, this one was hit hard by the 2020 earthquake and will likely not be rebuilt.

An old kafenion at the top of Ano Vathy. Many years ago, we drank an ouzo here for 100 drachmas and were treated to fantastic meze.

There are only a few houses in the small bay, two of which are quite nice taverns. The pebbly beach is quite narrow, but offers good water quality.

At the end of the forest path in the transition to the Monopathi there is another chapel at a collected water point. This is much more magnificent than the one at the beginning of the path. The iconostasis is worth seeing. The main icon shows a decapitated saint, so it could be dedicated to Saint Joannis. Here, too, you can rest in the shade and get water.

At the entrance to the footpath to Vathy you will find a small chapel, as there are many here on the island. It's not particularly beautiful and probably not very old either, but as always it offers a shady place to rest.
