Peace Temple This Peace Temple was built in 1814 as an expression of joy for the regained freedom after the French period under Napoleon. This temple only survived the explosion during World War II following a failed V2 rocket launch. A new Peace Temple was built at the launch site in 1945 using old materials. A small dome has been erected there since 2023, and you can also enjoy the view over the water from the pavilion's terrace.
