Traunhaft beautiful. Bicycle tour from Stade via Apensen to Stade through the lower Estetal. So much beautiful nature and the cycle paths are also manageable, from time to time it gets a bit uneven but it is doable. A short section runs directly along the road. Great resting places are available on the route. E.g. at the fishing water of Horneburg in the lower Estetal. There the place is dedicated to the North German poet: Johann D. Bellmann *08.05.1930 - 25.06.2006

This small bathing area with a sunbathing lawn is located on the Sm Este hiking trail south of Buxtehude. The spot is very popular and quite lovely. Some people use it as a barbecue area and leave their trash behind, which is obviously not desirable. Otherwise, it's a very pleasant place to be and highly recommended.
