In Budweis, on the large square, there he stands, majestically wet: Samson, the mighty fountain hero, with lion's strength and wet fur. He doesn't fight against Philistine defiance, no, he conquers the thirst for water! His spear? A stream, crystal clear, so true for thirsty people from near and far. The tourists stand and marvel here, "Who is that man? Why is he really standing here?" But Budweisers have known for a long time: "He's giving us water – beer is much better, though!" So, Samson, hold the urn tight, for Budweis loves you, will never swallow you whole! But when the market square is blazing hot, remember: "First water, then Budweiser beer!"

Hotel Budweis - a four-star hotel in the centre of České Budějovice, located on Mlýnská Street. The building of today's hotel was built in 1872 and served as a mill (Přední mlýn; the first Dvorní mlýn was built here in the 14th century), and in 1875 the street was named Mühlengasse after it. Regulation of the Malše River at the end of the 19th century meant that only a dead-end branch of the river reached the mill. Until 1926, the mill was owned by private individuals, then it was bought by Jihočeské elektrárny, but a year later it was sold again to its previous owner, Josef Havlíček. In 2002, the remains of a tower and city walls were discovered in the building. To this day, a medieval well and the remains of the original mill can be seen on the ground floor. The reconstruction into a hotel began in January 2009, and it opened to guests in October of that year. The facility has five floors and 60 hotel beds https://pl.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hotel_Budweis

This magnificent neo-Renaissance building is located in the corner of Přemysl Otakar II Square at the beginning of Karla IV Street. The three-story palace is a good example of the German Renaissance; The spatially spacious building is, by Budweiser standards, extremely richly decorated with sophisticated sculptures and statues. The author of the palace is the Viennese architect Paul Brang. The German credit institution “Biene”, from which the palace owes its name, had its headquarters here until 1923.

The baroque fountain, built between 1721-1726, is considered one of Budějovice's landmarks. It was built in the middle of the main square after the Thirty Years' War and provided water supply to the side streets. Its stone basin has a diameter of 17 meters, making the fountain one of the largest in the Czech Republic.
