"Calderglen Zoo opened in 1982 and is still home to over fifty different animal species, some of which are unfortunately critically endangered. The zoo is just around an acre in size, but here you will still be able to see meerkats, wallabies, coatis, otters and many more charismatic creatures." Cross the Clyde on the Livingstone Bridge and explore his birthplace. The museum is well worth a look, or just enjoy the view of the Clyde from the bridge.
