Tips from the Community

Strider 🇺🇸🚴‍♀️🇩🇪
July 25, 2026, Glentrool Visitor Centre

No longer bike friendly. The employee made it absolutely clear that e-bikes can not be charged here. I guess there insurance won’t allow it. 🤬 However, if you need a charge and a bite to eat try the Barr community shop and cafe. They are very nice and welcoming and the prices and food are better. Such a disappointment. 🙁

Fantastic place to start/end a ride. Loads of trails in the vicinity and a good coffee shop at the centre. Everything you need for a good day out.
