Praia dos Coxos is located in a bay facing northwest. The sand is wide and of medium length. This region is home to a variety of marine fauna. The currents are usually strong near the tip of the cliff, in the southern part. At the top of the cliff, there is a parking area with a privileged view over the landscape. This beach is part of the Ericeira World Surfing Reserve.

A beautiful, secluded little beach with its own large parking lot. The surf is quite noticeable in strong winds, but the direction of the waves makes it difficult for surfing. Access to the beach is via a short footpath from the south. There is also a path further north, but access is less accessible.
