Easy hikes and walks around L'Épiphanie

Just a short drive from Montreal, the Sentiers de la Presqu’île offer a welcome pocket of wild nature just beside Repentigny. The 19-kilometre trail network winds through peaceful forest where woodpeckers often provide the soundtrack, making it a lovely choice for summer walks and crisp autumn hikes. This is an exceptionally well-kept local escape with plenty of room to slow down, look up, and enjoy the woods.

While exploring the trails of the Peninsula, you come across this small pond that almost goes unnoticed in the middle of the dense woods. It's worth taking some time to breathe in the quiet before continuing your hike.

A picnic table sits on a wooden viewing platform in the woods, perfect for a trailside picnic or a break on your walk.

The trail takes you along the bank of the river where the park hits its northern boundary. The Mascouche River runs for over 63 kilometres before joining the Rivière des Mille Îles south of here.

A fenced boardwalk with viewing platforms takes you out over the marshy area by the bank of the Mascouche River. You can see the falls upriver to the west as they pour into the bend by the trail.
