The information center is free to enter and is located at the Heimkehle Nature Discovery Cave near Uftrungen. The Heimkehle Visitor Center is open from April to October, Tuesdays to Sundays and on public holidays, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; from November to March, it is open from Wednesdays to Sundays and on public holidays, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The staff there were very friendly, and we received a lot of interesting information.
