The Drachenbrunnen (Dragespringvandet) on Copenhagen City Hall Square is a monument of bronze and granite, designed by Joakim Skovgaard and Thorvald Bindesbøll. The fountain basin is lined with water-spouting dragons and lizards, which, according to an anecdote, were intended to intimidate citizens with complaints when entering the City Hall. After several relocations and a renovation during the subway construction, the fountain was fully reopened in the center of the square in June 2023.

The artwork was designed by Joakim Skovgaard and Thorvald Bindesbøll, with the inauguration being delayed for several years until 1923 after some back and forth. After several relocations and an extensive renovation, the fine piece has been standing smartly restored in its place again since 2023.

The boat trips with the well-known blue Netto boats last around an hour and start directly at popular points such as Nyhavn or Holmens Kirke. During the trip, passengers pass numerous historical sights and receive multilingual explanations via loudspeakers in German, English, and Danish. The offer is considered an inexpensive and uncomplicated way to explore the Danish capital from the water, as advance ticket reservation is usually not necessary.
