The Mindelburg is a landmark of the Upper Swabian town of Mindelheim in the Bavarian district of Unterallgäu. In 1933, the National Socialist "Reich Peasant Leader" Walther Darré had the South German Peasant Leadership School established in the Mindelburg, which he opened with a large festival for the town of Mindelheim at the 1st Swabian Peasant Day on November 11, 1933. From 1949/50, the Mindelburg served as a military hospital and a hospital for the disabled. In 1950, it was rented to the W.
