This is an excellent spot to pause and take in the scenery from a bench overlooking the Arrow Lakes. It also offers an easy stroll down to the water's edge.

The Nakusp & Slocan Rail Trail follows the route of the former Nakusp Rail Line. The surface is a gravel railbed that features a gentle, steady climb from Nakusp up to Summit Lake. The trail is excellent for hiking, cycling, and cross-country skiing.

Great stop for snack or lunch (assuming you're carrying it). During August frogs are migrating through the area. Enjoy the beauty.
