This rest stop viewpoint is perfect for a break, with plenty of benches, clean toilets, and an observation tower overlooking the valley. Bring binoculars – you may spot moose or birds from the hillsides, and if you’re lucky, even catch the northern lights.

A super beautiful place for a really easy hike in Norway, even for those with less fitness. On the longer stretch to the observation tower (turn right at the sign), we eventually found ourselves so deep in the swamp that I had to continue on my own, as footwear was crucial here. So if you don't mind getting a little dirty and stopping here and there to check for the best possible footholds, you can enjoy a beautiful hike here. With a bit of luck, you'll also see some beautiful birds and, at dusk, maybe even some wildlife.
