The mountain hut Pirin is one of the lowest mountain huts in the Pirin mountains in the national park of the same name. It is located in the valley of the Demikapijska River at 1640 meters altitude. We paid 15Lv per bed in October 2018. The rooms are unheated and without electricity. In the common room you can use the socket, warm yourself at the Bollerofen and make yourself hot (for example, to use the bottle as a hot water bottle). On request, food is offered. There is no wireless network here, so do not be surprised if you can not reach anyone by phone in advance. If Ivan has service, this also speaks German, otherwise only Bulgarian is spoken here. There is a barbecue and a fire pit outside. 2-3 minutes below there is an inn, which also offers food and sleeping options. However, when we were there, it was already winterized and locked.
