Great place to ride close to Timisoara, you have a big lake, a forest with a little uphill, then downhill through a vineyard or you cand gain some more elevation going to one or both of the Bencec's or if you want a longer ride towards Herneacova, Buzad, Nadas. Lovely fields, many birds, pheasants, wild rabbits, clear skies and few to no cars in the area. Since there is alot of offroad, agriculture roads and forest roads, do check the weather so it does not rain a couple of days before, a saddle with gel/foam, a pair of sun glasses, some water, something to eat/chew/snacks/sweets and maybe a helmet and if you plan to return late in the evening definitely lights! ps: charge your phone, oh and there is a spring in Ianova, a shop also and a good place to eat + playground for kids and some animals, called Hanul Zian that just opened in may 2025. Enjoy!
