Beginning or end of the railway cycle path „Voie Verte“ St. Girons - Foix or vice versa. A short section also serves to continue to (or from) Palmier. The Foix - Pamier route is neither signposted nor developed. But it can be easily ridden on small side roads.

One of many old train stations on the route, all of which are inhabited as private homes. How we wished that one of them housed a café. Nostalgic memories of the Alpe-Adria journey are awakened!

Magnificent building with the remains of a ruined mill house and two beautiful arches, access is possible by bike.

Le col de Port is the first pass I did in the Pyrenees. You can climb it via a regular road (official road), or an even more pleasant small road. And the view at the summit is well worth the climb!

A heavenly place to enjoy the Pyrenees in their full glory. Ideal for a family picnic in spring or summer. Also, as there is a bar - restaurant, it is ideal if you want to have a drink on the terrace.

The center of Foix is small but very cute. It's worth taking a walk through the historic center.
