The current building rises in the remains of what used to be the village's old temple, which was built in 1528, but its perimeter is larger, also covering part of the surface where the Old Square, the public well ( which dated from 1532, and to record the existence of the remains of the same, an inscription, in Latin, was placed on one of the side walls of the temple, which reads: "H I C A L T V S P V T I V S S V P I T R A C L A V D I T V R I S T A", "Under this stone a high well is closed"), the village oven, the old Consistorial House, and even the prison.
