A beautiful little lake. The cozy Kisapirtti Café is located slightly to the north. The Kaarinanpolku, a 60-kilometer long-distance hiking trail, also passes by here.

The Water Tower Trail, which starts from Tähtitorninmäki, is a guided route. It’s just over three kilometers long and circles around the tower. Along the way, the trail runs next to the shoreline, where there's a great spot on a rocky cliff to stop for a drink or a snack.

The Halimasjärvi Nature Reserve, located between Atala, Kumpula, and Risso, is an excellent destination for a hike—even for the whole family. Outdoor activities and relaxation are best enjoyed along the trail that circles Halimasjärvi, parts of which run on duckboards. From the duckboard trail, you can take a detour up terrain steps to the rocky eastern shore to admire the scenery. The trail cannot be ridden by bike, but I locked my bike to the signpost poles. Great views can also be found just a few steps from the bike path.
