Here you pedal among the shade of the trees on a wide, well-trodden dirt road that carves its way through dense vegetation. The winding curves make this stretch fun and never boring.

The cafe seems to offer soup on saturdays and on sundays something more beefier like mash and meatballs or like a pasta. Really good after a hike. It’s open on sat and sun 11-17 (11am to 5pm)

Beautiful gravel section, unfortunately no lake views though

nice and quiet but the gravel is rocky and soft throughout, you can certainly ride here even on a road bike (or anyway I did, on 25s) but I certainly prefer a faster surface (I can think of plenty of singletrack that rides quicker than this)
