Cremon/Krimuldas Castle was built shortly after 1250 for representative purposes and to protect and manage the estates of the Archbishop of Riga. It was destroyed in 1601 during the Polish-Swedish War. The estate continued to operate, and Krimuldas Palace was built approximately 200 meters to the west to replace the castle. The southern façade of the palace was restored as an artificial ruin to complement its park.

Here you glide over the bridge as if on a smooth ribbon, with a wonderful view through the blue steel structure towards the horizon. The perfect symmetry and the interplay of light and shadow create an almost hypnotic rhythm when driving. The wind blows gently and the feeling of freedom is within reach - ideal for a moment to take a deep breath and feel the vastness

The rusty steel, the massive supports and the gentle rocking when you drive over them - everything together makes for a little adventure that makes your heart beat faster. The mix of nature around it and the industrial backdrop of the bridge makes this spot particularly exciting.
