Stone setting on the Mollenkopf The third and final sandstone, decorated with ornaments by the Weidenthal elementary school students during the stone setting project, found its place on the Mollenkopf, the highest elevation in the Weidenthal municipal forest. Right next to the resting bench, the approx. 2-meter-high stone colossus found its spot. For the headmistress of the Weidenthal elementary school, Cornelia Stumpf, this stone setting completes the circle of all 3 carved stones: School stone - Sun stone - Mollenkopf stone. The stone setting was expertly carried out by the company Semmelsberger from Elmstein. In addition to the headmistress Cornelia Stumpf and forest ranger Hubert Stuhlfauth, the project manager of the stone setting action, Harlet Trujillo, was also present.

Wonderful rest area, plenty of seating, a nicely decorated shelter including a well-stocked liquor cabinet and a trash can (you could also dispose of empty bottles here 👆). We spent a lovely break there.
