Normally, the ruins are closed to the public. However, there is a way. At the castle hotel, you can get the key for the gate and visit the ruins. The observation tower was particularly important to me because I visit similar ones by bicycle in the TV series "The Tower Hunt." The tower looks massive. Spiral stone stairs lead up to a small room where you can also reach the viewing platform. First, though, you have to climb the vertical metal ladder. It's worth it because the view is beautiful.
